On behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers, PlanMiljø will facilitate a side-event at the World Circular Economy Forum.
The event presents the new Guideline for Circular Economy in Local Governments and is targeted local and national governments as well as circular economy practitioners and businesses cooperating with local governments in the transition to circular economy. The side event is free and open to all WCEF2019 guests and other interested stakeholders.
The main objective of the event is to exchange experiences on local governments as drivers for circular economy. The event includes presentations from local governments and an introduction to the new Nordic guideline and its combined technical and organisational approach to circular economy. Two breakout sessions allow participants to discuss different aspects of circular economy, including how to mainstream CE in local governments. Registered participants will receive a workshop report mid-June 2019.
