Sigurd er ved at at færdiggøre sin kandidat i statskundskab på Københavns universitet. Her har han specialiseret sig i miljø- og klima politik, med fokus på bæredygtighed i et samfundsmæssigt perspektiv, såvel som i den enkelte virksomhed. Sigurd er særlig interesseret i emner såsom politisk interessevaretagelse, bæredygtig innovation, samt ESG og CSR-arbejde i virksomheder og organisationer.
Sigurd har tidligere erfaringer indenfor bl.a. Affald- og vandsektorerne , hvor han på nationalt niveau har siddet med den økonomiske og strukturelle regulering af disse. Hertil har han haft særligt fokus på især genanvendelse. Derudover har Sigurd også mere direkte erfaring med virksomheders økonomiske forhold og drift i form af forskelligt regnskabs- og revisionsarbejde, CFO-services og implementeringsopgaver

Sigurd is in the process of completing his master's degree in political science at the University of Copenhagen.
Here he has specialized in environmental and climate policy, with a focus on sustainability in everything from a societal perspective, as well as in the individual company. Sigurd is particularly interested in topics such as political advocacy, sustainable innovation, as well as ESG and CSR work in companies and organisations.
Sigurd has previous experience in e.g. The waste and water sectors, where he has been responsible for the economic and structural regulation of these at national level. In addition, he has had a particular focus on recycling in particular. In addition, Sigurd also has more direct experience with companies' financial conditions and operations in the form of various accounting and audit work, CFO services and implementation tasks
