Nordic Metrics for Circular Construction
Invitation to workshop
Time and Location
22. maj 2023 12.00 – 15.00 CEST
We invite you to participate in our upcoming online expert workshop: 'Nordic Metrics for Circular Construction'.
Monitoring circular economy activities in the construction sector is gaining increasing importance in European and Nordic policies, standards, and certification schemes. Our ongoing project, Nordic Networks for Circular Construction, is developing new voluntary circularity metrics for the Nordic countries. This workshop aims to arrive at a Nordic consensus over what ideally should be measured, what can be measured in reality, and what is relevant to measure.
This workshop provides an opportunity for you to shape the development of new Nordic monitoring frameworks. As a participant, you can also expect to gain new insights into the many facets of circular construction. We will present you with results from the project in an easily digestible format, including our dashboard with almost 300 circularity indicators and insights from our literature and policy reviews.
The 3-hour workshop will take place on the 22nd of May from 12-3 pm (CET), and we strive to provide an engaging event. For now, this is a diary date with further details to follow in the weeks before the workshop. The workshop is online and will use Microsoft Teams and digital voting tools. All presentations will be in English, but our team will facilitate breakout discussions in Danish, English, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Swedish.
Your insights and expertise will be invaluable to us and the project's overall success. We invite experts from all the Nordic Countries across the value chain in the construction sector. Feel free to forward this invitation to relevant colleagues.
